 Yay!!!!

I haven't posted in awhile.  Then again since this is my first journal experience I'm not used to a daily diary.  I always started one per year when I was in grammar and high school and managed about 1 week's worth of entries.

It's the slow season here, so I'm just doing things that I enjoy.  Bobby Darin is playing in the background . . . I'm working on slilent movie icons . . . all is right with the world.   If I could sit here and watch dvds on my computer things would be even better.  But I suppose I should look if not productive, at least dedicated to my job.

I had a pleasant surprise today.  Someone I haven't talked to in 8 years called me.  He doesn't apprecitate Bobby Darin or Charlie Chaplin, but he is an interesting conversationalist.

SUCCESS!

Hmmmmm . . . I may eventually figure this site out, but in the meantime I'm having a great time creating icons. By the time I actually figure out how to post them I will probably have about 1,000. Today is a gloomy day, the suns gone the clouds are in the sky . . .

But on a positive note, we finally got a building for Bobby Darin on Top Dog City.  

I'm really not in all that bad a mood, I'm just mellow and a bit frustrated with the icon uploading

Well today has been rather brutal.  Up at 5 to run a show.  Then nothing would work if it had anything to do with computers.  And it hasn't stopped yet.  I think I'll go back to pen and ink, or better yet parchment and quill.  Pen's have mechanisms which implies technology which I'm determined to avoid this weekend.

Otherwise it's just nice to sit an relax for a change.  And I'm just gonna sit and watch stuff tonight (by stuff that means any media type things to which I am totally addicted (Alias Smith & Jones, Doctor Who. 

So I'm now a member.  Funny I don't feel any different.  Adding a world to my life should have more of an impact.  We will see.  I'm creating my virtual world here, thus the feeling of creativity. It's a good thing I have my own office sometimes.
